The Bourbon Dad!

Hello, I’m Les Merkley a/k/a The Bourdon Dad who enjoys all things bourbon. I’m a dad and bourbon enthusiast based just minutes from iconic Whiskey Row in Louisville, Kentucky. When I’m not spending time with my beautiful wife and four kids, I’m enjoying my beloved Green Bay Packers and all things bourbon, preferably neat unless it’s an Old Fashioned. I decided to start this blog to share my love of all things bourbon. Whether it’s eating, drinking or traveling, I find bourbon makes life more enjoyable. I thought I’d spread the joy by writing about my adventures right here.
